East Point Lighthouse, built in 1867, is Canada’s Confederation Lighthouse and is a local landmark in the Eastern Kings area! East Point Lighthouse is open everyday from 10:00am-6:00pm, offering guided tours or self-guided tours to the top of our tower, an impressive 67 steps! From the top of the tower you can see the East Point Wind Farm, fishing boats, numerous birds, seals, and the three tides with it’s unique wave action. You can capture spectacular photos, even on a rainy day. This tour is well worth the price!
